Xi Jinping Talks to PLA: Amid the India-China border dispute, Chinese President Xi Jinping has interacted with his troops stationed in eastern Ladakh through video conferencing and reviewed the war preparations. Chinese media gave this information on Friday (January 20).
According to Chinese media, President Xi Jinping addressed troops deployed along the border in Khunjrab under the Xinjiang Military Command from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) headquarters. During this, he told the soldiers that ‘how in recent years, there is a constant change in the area and how it has affected the army’.
What did Jinping ask the soldiers?
According to Chinese media, Chinese President Jinping questioned the PLA soldiers ‘about their border patrolling and management work’. According to the report, one of the soldiers replied that they are now monitoring the border ’24 hours’. During this, President Jinping praised the soldiers and encouraged them to continue their efforts. There is still tension on LAC
Violent clashes have also taken place between the soldiers of both the countries in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh regarding the determination of LAC. The standoff between India and China started after a violent clash on May 5, 2020, in the Pangong Lake area of eastern Ladakh. There have been 17 rounds of high-level military talks between the two sides regarding the border standoff in eastern Ladakh, but there has been no significant progress in resolving the remaining issues. Recently, there was a clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh.
Trying to divert attention from Corona?
